Throughout Each Season
Haunted Studio
Last season our competition team raised $700 by hosting a haunted studio trail. We appreciate everyone that came out and shared their screams with us. The journey started in the graveyard, to our haunted portrait of “Pamela Pomeroy",” through the corn maze, inside the witches’ coven, into the circus, through the forest, and finally into the locker room to retrieve Miss Chantel’s dance bag. Each room had a different task to complete before moving on. It was a spooktacular time for everyone! Due to COVID, we are unable to run this event this season.
Christmas Showcase
It’s the most wonderful time of the year and we enjoy “sleighing the dance floor.” Santa comes as well as Elsa from Frozen, our studio is decorated like a winter wonderland, the performances are always sold out, and the air is filled with holiday cheer! Our dancers love looking for Elfie, our studio’s Elf on the Shelf and playing games such as Pin the Nose on Olaf and Candy Cane Hunt. We hope you will join us as we deck the halls and have a jolly good time together celebrating the holidays!
Daffodil Festival Parade
Last season we were grateful to dance on 2 floats with our largest amount of participants yet! We couldn’t have done this without Daniella Fornal, Jeremy Roberts, JJ Logodicio & JTL Landscaping, Dan Logodicio & P&L Plumbing LLC, Ron Logodicio, our amazing SDA dance teachers pictured and of course our dance family that participated. We had the best time dancing, cheering, and participating in the festivities!
Paint Parties
We look forward to our annual painting fundraisers! We loved being inspired & getting creative while instructed by an artist. Sip & Paint is fun for adults and Paint Party is fun for children. We encourage everyone to bring snacks and invite others to attend as well. Everyone ends up with their own one of a kind masterpiece!
Movie Nights
A great night out for parents and guardians while the children enjoy pizza, popcorn, games, and a movie at the studio! We tend to do Movie Nights a few times a season depending on interest. Children are encouraged to wear pajamas and bring a pillow and blanket to relax while watching the movie. We love giving the adults a few hours off! This is definitely is an event to look forward to!
In-Class Holiday Parties
In-class sign-up sheets are posted online and printed in the studio. Everyone is required to bring something to share with the class! Dressing up in the holiday spirit is a must as well! Halloween and Valentine’s Day are the two of the holidays we are able to celebrate in class. Spreading extra love and bringing in sweet treats is fun with dance friends!
Summer Showcase
Selected recital routines are asked to perform again as well as new routines created during dance camp, awards are given to recipients that are highly deserving, delicious dinner is served, and we have a fun night on the dance floor. This is also a special night to celebrate our seniors and staff. Do not miss out on a fun night out our dance family!
Cabaret Performances
We love performing with the musically talented White Rabbit Theatre of Glastonbury. Our last cabaret was a hit with songs performed from Mean Girls, Wicked, and Les Miserables. We look forward to performing all together again and filling the room with incredibly talented artists. These cabarets benefit both WRT and SDA.
Pumpkin Painting Party 2022
We had so much fun painting pumpkins, watching a movie on the big screen, walking in a costume parade outside, and doing a candy scavenger hunt! Congratulations to our winners for best decorated pumpkin and best costume! Can’t wait to do this again next year!
